The Luxembourg group Rotarex, a specialist in multi-purpose valves, decided to implement a fully integrated solution to support all its business processes. SAP S/4HANA was chosen, with Sopra Steria Luxembourg as the main implementation partner.
Scope: implementation of all SAP S/4HANA modules: finance, procurement, human resources, production, sales, accounting, inventory management, etc. As a first step, Sopra Steria analysed the needs for the key functions to be performed, first in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and later in the rest of the world, with as a priority the definition of master data in databases, with the aim of a “single version of the truth”. The first phase of the project consisted of focusing needs before proposing a prototype of different scenarios. In this way it was possible to limit custom developments and implement a pre-configured solution.
In addition to the implementation of the SAP S/4HANA modules, Sopra Steria Rotarex will help with its digital transformation and with the integration of new technological innovations in collaboration with SAP.
