Did you know? 1 in 10 LGBTQ workers have left a job because the environment was not very accepting of LGBTQ people*. To honor Belgian Pride 2021, Sopra Steria Benelux in accordance with the Group, confirms its commitment to supporting diversity and especially its support for the LGBT+ cause.
“As an international group that employs 46,000 people, we know that we have a role to play in fighting against all forms of discrimination. LGBT+ matters are fully integrated into our CSR policy. We are committed to establishing an inclusive environment for LGBT+ employees. We want them to feel free to be themselves, and for them to be considered in the same way as all the Group’s other employees, irrespectively of their sexual orientation and gender identity” explains Consuelo Benicourt, Sopra Steria Group CSR Director.
Our CSR Policy for LGBT+ inclusion is based on the following commitments:
- Preventing all forms of discrimination linked to sexual orientation or gender identity.
- Enabling employees to be themselves and not have to hide their sexual orientation or their gender identity at work.
- Ensuring equal treatment for all employees regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
- Supporting employees who are victims of discriminatory comments or acts.
