Sopra Steria Benelux COO goes to Hawaii for the Ironman World Championship

Sébastien Calle is Chief Operations Officer of Sopra Steria Benelux. In addition to his exceptional career at Sopra Steria, he also has a superb sporting career, in the field of long-distance triathlon called Ironman.

Sébastien is no stranger to performances on the world's biggest triathlon stage. This is already the third time he has qualified for the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii. He completed the 3.8km open water swim, 180.2km bike ride, and finished with a 42.195km run in 10:45min and 14 seconds. We congratulate him for this outstanding performance which requires a lot of training and a strong mind!

The Ironman World Championship was held October 6-8 in Kona, Hawaii, on the west coast of the Big Island. Professional and age group triathletes from all over the world dream of racing on the main stage of the IRONMAN.

The legendary course that takes athletes through the barren lava fields of Hawaii Island is the setting for the ultimate test of strength, courage and heart, while calling on athletes to find the spirit of aloha within themselves.
