iBestuur Congress: Pioneering the Future of Digital Governance

Sopra Steria is proud to be a key participant at the iBestuur Congress 2024, taking place on September 11th at the NBC Congrescentrum in Nieuwegein.

This annual event gathers approximately 900 professionals from Dutch government institutions, public organizations, education, science, and the IT sector. It serves as a platform for exchanging knowledge and discussing the digital transformation of society and the advancement of a reliable, customer-centric government.

At this year's conference, Sopra Steria will host three insightful sessions led by our experts, highlighting our contributions to the digital transformation of the Dutch government:

• iBestuur Partner Session: Marco Brattinga, Solution Lead BU Data Management and Governance at Sopra Steria NL, will be the moderator of a roundtable exploring how transparent and well-organised information management can improve public services. Participants of the roundtable are Reijer Passchier, Professor of Digitalisation and the Democratic Rule of Law, Nanette van Schelven, Director-General of Customs and Leo Peereboom, Director of Information Provision and Procurement Main Directorate of Business Operations at the Ministry of Justice and Security.
  
• iBestuur Session: Market and Government: Dennis Struyk, Director of Government at Sopra Steria NL, will share valuable lessons from the Adviescollege ICT-toetsing', discussing key aspects such as tendering, management, client-contractor interactions, and managing scope and costs.
• Ministry of Foreign Affairs Session on Cybersecurity: Eelco Stofbergen, Director of Cybersecurity & Compliance at Sopra Steria NL, will address the complexities of cybersecurity in major global events like the Olympic Games. The Sopra Steria Group is actively contributing to the security of the Paris Olympic Games with its cutting-edge anti-drone solution.
