LUXEMBOURG - Test Automation Engineer

We are currently looking for a “Test Automation Engineer” in order to reinforce our team working for our European Institutions Public Sector Business Unit.

Your Mission:

  • Support Test Leader to prepare Test Automation (Unit Testing / System Integration Testing / Performance Testing / Interoperability Testing)
  • Analyse technical requirements
  • Define & design automated tests
  • Build and maintain test automation architecture
  • Build and maintain Test automation solution using tool based on XML and/or COTS
  • Support Test team in transitioning from manual to automated test
  • Internal defect management & tracking to closure
  • Interacting with development team & technical architects to manage and resolve dependencies
  • Interacting with development team & technical architects to manage issues in line with testing process
  • Ensure timely reporting on test progress and collect metrics

Your profile:

  • You have a degree in Computer Science. Master degree is a plus
  • Fluent in English or French
  • Strong troubleshooting & diagnostic abilities
  • Analysis and synthetic skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Product oriented
  • Team spirit is a strong requirement.

Your knowledge/experience:

Must have:

  • 2 – 3 years of demonstrated hands-on experience in test automation and test engineering
  • Strong working experience and knowledge of automated testing for functional and non-functional scope (High availability, Performance, Robustness)
  • Good working experience in Oracle database
  • Good knowledge of OS and scripting: RHEL and Bash, Python, SQL, PL/SQL
  • Working experience in integration testing, test definition, test execution, reporting and bug tracking
  • Experience using development infrastructure tools, such as Jenkins, Maven, GitLab
  • Experience using Test automation framework: Citrus, Hermes, JMeter, SoapUI, etc.
  • Knowledge about JMS & Soap WEB services; XML & XSD
  • Basic knowledge or experience in Oracle WebLogic

Nice to have:

  • 2+ years in J2EE programming experience
  • ISTQB Foundation level certified is a valuable asset
  • Experience using HP-ALM and/or Tosca
  • Experience in Apache Tomcat and Elastic Search
  • Good understanding of SOA architecture components
  • Experience working experience in Agile scrum environment
  • Experience in security testing
